Description

These Slow Cooker Cinnamon Apples are tender, warm, and bursting with sweet spice — the perfect cozy side or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 6 medium apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp butter, sliced
  • Optional: splash of water or apple juice

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and thickly slice the apples.
  2. Place apple slices in the slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Drizzle with vanilla extract and lemon juice.
  5. Dot with butter slices.
  6. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2.5 to 3 hours, or LOW for 5 to 6 hours.
  7. Stir gently before serving.
